We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to our Halloween in the Park event! Your enthusiasm and spirit truly made the day special.

Thank you to our Trick-or-Treat vendors for providing the candy and activities. Wow! What a turn out. We had 25 vendors!! We will be posting photos on our website and social media page – we got some great booth photos.

Thank you to Juli McDermott and Dawn Diggle for creating such a fun Haunted House on the stage inside the gymnasium. You both really worked hard and it’s always a new creative design every year. If you had other volunteers help you – thank you to them as well!

Thank you to our volunteer actors and staff for creating such a fun and scary Hayride. It was frightful – so good job!

Special thanks to the Lake Gregory Company for providing the additional parking for FREE!

Special thanks to Lakeside DJ Services for the spine-tingling tunes. Your playlist was epic!

From the creative costumes to the festive activities, it was wonderful to see families and friends come together to celebrate. Your participation not only brought joy to the event but also helped create lasting memories for all.

Join us for a spine-tingling evening of fun and fright at our 2024 Halloween in the Park! Come for the thrills, stay for the chills, and celebrate Halloween with the Park District in style. It’s a night of family fun and frightful delight that you won’t want to miss! 🎃👻🕸️

Here's what awaits you:

• Haunted HayRide**: Brave the eerie night for just $2.00 per ride and enjoy a thrilling tour through our haunted trail. 
• Haunted House**: Dare to enter if you’re brave enough! Our Haunted House promises scares and surprises around every corner. Created by Julie McDermott and Friends! 
• Run Through the Haunted Pines**: A special spooky kids fun run —navigate through obstacles and experience the thrill of a haunted race in a kid-friendly setting. Run is for kids ages 5 - 12 yrs. 
• Community Vendors Trick-or-Treat**: Visit our local vendors for a wide range of goodies and treats. Collect candy and discover unique finds! Interested in becoming a vendor? Scroll down to sign-up! 
• Costume Contest**: Show off your Halloween spirit in our Costume Contest! Fabulous prizes await the most creative and spooky costumes.
• Pet Costume Contest**: Don’t forget your furry friends! Enter them in our Pet Costume Contest for a chance to win some purr-fect prizes.
• Special Performances**: Enjoy a variety of live performances that will add extra excitement to your Halloween night.
• Concession Stand**: Grab some tasty treats and Halloween-themed snacks to keep your energy up as you enjoy the festivities.
• Dance Party & Much More**: Hit the dance floor at our Halloween-themed dance party and immerse yourself in all the spooky fun!
